Pastor Michael calls us to ask the tough question... What is true faith?
In Hebrews 11, Scripture reminds us that “faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” True faith isn’t placed in our circumstances, our abilities, or the things of this world — it is placed in Jesus Christ alone.
Throughout the “Hall of Faith,” we see men and women who trusted God even when they couldn’t see the outcome. Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, and many others lived lives of obedience and trust because they believed in who God is and in His promises.
In this message, we’re reminded that:
Faith is confidence in Christ
Faith is obedient
Faith is active
And faith is proven through the way we live
Even when life brings trials, waiting seasons, and uncertainty, God is still faithful. When we trust Him fully, He works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.
No matter where you are in your walk with the Lord today, remember: your foundation must be Jesus Christ.
