chili cook off
As part of The Round Up at Calvary Chapel Hemet on Sunday, October 4, we’ll be hosting our Annual Chili Cookoff right after second service on the church grounds—and we’re looking for contestants!
Bring a batch of your best homemade chili and put your recipe to the test. Whether it’s a longtime family recipe, your own secret creation, mild and savory, or packed with a little extra heat, we want you to join in on the friendly competition!
Chili entries will be tasted and judged during The Round Up, and one winning chili will take home a special prize! So grab your apron, perfect that recipe, and get ready to see how your chili stacks up against the competition.
The cookoff will be part of a full afternoon of food, fellowship, and family fun, including BBQ, ranch-style activities, games, music, and plenty more happening throughout The Round Up.
Think you have what it takes to be our Chili Cookoff champion? If you’d like to enter your chili in the competition, please call the Calvary Chapel Hemet church office for more information or contact Knicko Askari directly to sign up.
Grab your apron, get that recipe ready, and come compete for the title—and a special prize! We can’t wait to taste what you bring to The Round Up!
