Ladies’ Prayer Meeting – Saturday, August 12th – 8:00 a.m. – 9 a.m. 
On the second Saturday of each month at 8:00 A.M., we gather together in the Fellowship Hall for a women’s prayer group.  Come join us for this sweet time in prayer!
Agape Hands Ministry – Saturday, August 12th, 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Do you sew, quilt, knit, or crochet, or have a craft skill or talent you would like to teach others? Would you like to learn some new craft skills?  Come join us in the Fellowship Hall to begin learning.  Agape Hands is a ministry using sewing, knitting, crocheting and a variety of other craft skills and talents to serve and minister to our community.  These are skills you can learn, share and even do from your home to help a ministry or do as a personal hobby.
Men’s Breakfast – Saturday, August 19th – 7:00 a.m., Fireside Room
Come join us for a man-sized meal, fellowship and time in God’s Word.  All men and High School young men welcome!   Cost is $5.00 per person. This is the only Bible study at Calvary Chapel Hemet to feature bacon!
50 Plus Jazz Night – August 19th – 6:00 p.m.
Join us for a beautiful evening of upbeat music and a finger-food potluck.  Sign-up at the 50 Plus table outside on Sunday morning.
CCHemet Family Night at the Redlands Bowl – Friday, August 25th
Bring the family and join us for an evening of music and fireworks as the Redlands Symphony presents their season finale.  Our Couples Ministry will have signs directing CCH families to join up for a picnic on the lawn at 6:30 p.m.  The show starts at 8:00. His Kids Club – Saturday, August 26th – 5:30 p.m.- 8:30 p.m.
Meets the 4th Saturday evening most months, 5:30pm-8:30pm at the home of Paul and Lynn Fewell.  The children have dinner, play games, learn how to share the gospel and serve others. Please pick up an information packet at the Information Desk if you would like to get involved in this ministry.
Youth Ministry – August Events
  • Tailgate – August 19th – Harvest Crusade at Angel Stadium – Youth, please make arrangements to be dropped off at the church by 1:00 p.m. and returning by 9:00 PM.  See Pastor Victor for sign-up.  Please be in prayer for this life-changing event!
  • Co-ed Church Softball – Every Saturday beginning mid-August.  For those interested, please sign-up at the CCHY table or see Pastor Victor.  We are seeking High School students and competitive spirited adults to represent Calvary Chapel Hemet.
Ladies’ Bible Study – Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. – September 12 through May 8
Our summer break is almost over and it will soon be time for our study to begin.  The Fall Ladies Bible Study will begin on Tuesday, September 12th at 9:00 A.M., meeting in the Fellowship Hall.  “LOVE LETTERS” is a study in Galatians, Ephesians and Philippians.  As we examine and study these timeless truths with spiritual ears to hear and hearts to obey, God will make Himself known and along the way, challenge each of us personally to want to impact our world for Christ!  We will be starting with Video Lesson 1 in Galatians chapters 1 & 2.  These studies are $10 for the year and are available in the bookstore.  Please plan to join us.  You will be blessed. 
Marriage Enrichment Retreat, September 29th – 30th
We’re excited to have our couples retreat just a 5 minute walk from the beach at the Spring Hill Suites Oceanside this year.  What a lovely place to spend with your spouse in the Word, fellowshipping with other couples from our church and having fun!  The hotel is givng us a special price of $225.87 per night, with an oceanview room and breakfast (includes taxes and parking).  Conference cost is $35 per couple, due upon registration which begins Sunday, July 16th at the Info Desk. 
Christmas Ladies Night Out and Craft Boutique – December 2nd, 5:00 p.m.
We are planning a special evening just for the ladies (Jr. High and older also invited to attend). Please plan to join us for an evening of worship, fellowship and time in God’s Word as we enter into this special time of year, the Christmas Season. We are also planning a Christmas Boutique of handcrafted items made by our own CCHemet ladies for you to peruse while you enjoy some savory finger food along with some sweet dessert. Ladies, if you would like to display your items to sell at this boutique, please pick up an application at the Info Desk today.
Summer Nights with Jesus – June 7th through August 30th
“Summer Nights with Jesus” is our Wednesday evening children’s program which replaces AWANA during the summer break.  It begins June 7th and ends on August 30th.   Our theme this year is “Big Wave Discovery” , where kids discover the Bible’s answer to their Big Questions about God, Jesus, the Bible, Prayer, the Church and more.
Fundamentals of the Faith Summer Class – Begins July 17th through August 29th
We are using the “Living Victoriously in the Battles of Life” workbook. This is a life application Bible study about how Christians can be victorious in the daily battles and struggles of life. Although this study is desgned for new believers, all believers will benefit from it. Workbook fee is $10. Please register for class and pay for the book in our bookstore. This class fulfills Servant Level I class requirement.
Tell Someone, Evangelism Summer Class – Begins July 17th through Sept. 19th
Have you ever wanted to share your faith with someone or lead someone to Christ but just didn’t know where to begin? This 10 week course will encourage and motivate you to share the gospel using biblical principles. You’ll learn how to build that bridge and start a conversation. Please register for this class and purchase your book and workbook in our bookstore. Cost is approximately $16. This class will fulfill the Servant Level II Evangelism requirement.
“Reflecting on the Word” – Radio Station AM590 – Sundays, 9:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Pastor Gary’s Sunday messages are now being aired on radio station AM 590.  You can download the app on your phone OR you can go online to This will be an opportunity for family members and friends that are currently not attending a church to tune in on Sunday mornings at 9:30 to hear the spoken Word of God.  It is also a resource for those in our church family to hear the Sunday message during those times when we are “under the weather” and unable to be in fellowship with the body of Christ.
One Step to Freedom Bible Study 
Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall.  This Bible study is for both men and women who struggle with drugs, alcohol, or any other destructive lifestyle.  Bring your Bible and join us!  Childcare is not available for this study.  Phil. 4:13 – I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Home Fellowships 
Home Fellowships are a wonderful way to spend time in worship and the study of the Word together in a small group setting.  We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities, Sundays (6PM) in San Jacinto and Mondays (6:30PM) in East Hemet.  Locations/maps available at the Info Desk.
“The Gathering” Prayer & Communion Service 
The second Sunday evening of each month, at 6:30 p.m., we meet in Fellowship Hall for worship, prayer and communion. Everyone is encouraged to come to this special service. Elders and Pastors will be available to pray with you for your needs, the needs of your friends, family and that of our church body. Childcare is provided. Please come and be blessed.
50+ Bible Study & Monthly Potluck
The Fifty Plus Bible Study group would like to invite everyone 50-or-better to join us Thursday mornings at 10:00 for traditional hymns and Bible study in the Fellowship Hall. We would also like to invite you to our monthly potluck on the third Thursday of each month following the study. Psst! If you’re not quite 50 and want to attend, come on over – we won’t turn you away!

Are available Sunday in the church lobby on both entrance tables. Everyone is welcome to pick up a copy and pray for the needs of those in the body. Please consider making this weekly list part of your prayer life. If you would like to place a prayer request, fill out a form located on the side of the agape boxes outside the doors leading into the Sanctuary.
